Ninkovich (hip) is no longer on the Patriots' injury report for Sunday's game against the Texans, the team's official site reports.
Ninkovich, who suffered a hip injury in the Patriots' season finale, has been at practice this week and has appeared to move without any issues, WEEI.com reports. That said, the linebacker isn't inclined to discuss his injury. "I'm not going to get into it," said Ninkovich on Wednesday. "[Just] practicing and getting ready for this game."
Ninkovich (hip) avoided serious injury Sunday, and, according to the Boston Herald, "there's a good chance he can play when the Patriots open the postseason Jan. 13," ESPNBoston.com reports.
Ninkovich was helped of the field during Sunday's game against the Dolphins after suffering an apparent left leg injury.
Ninkovich was on the field for 43-of-63 of the Patriots' defensive snaps in Sunday's game against the Rams, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Ninkovich has been getting reps on the defensive line during Patriots' OTAs, ESPNBoston reports.
Ninkovich signed a two-year contract extension with the Patriots on Friday, the Boston Herald reports.
