Thomas (wrist) scored 50 points in a Seattle Pro-Am game Sunday, indicating his offseason surgery on his left wrist has healed, The Republican reports.
Thomas underwent left wrist surgery to remove a cyst and believes he'll be fully healthy in 2-4 weeks, Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe reports. In the impromptu Q & A on Twitter, Thomas also mentioned that his back injury late in the 2014-15 season effected his jumpshot, and that his goal is to start this season.

Celtics' president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said Thursday that Thomas is a more productive option off the bench, Jay King of MassLive.com reports. "I think Isaiah is more suited for a bench role," Ainge said. "Isaiah expends a ton of energy to score."
Thomas proved in 21 regular season and four playoff games that he's exactly the type of scoring sparkplug that the team needs. In his 21 games in Celtic green, Thomas averaged 19.0 points, 5.4 assists and 2.3 made threes per game.
Thomas had another poor shooting performance in Sunday's Game 4 loss, but he still finished the game with 21 points (4-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 12-12 FT), five rebounds and nine assists in 37 minutes.
Thomas led the Celtics in scoring once again Tuesday, posting 22 points (6-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 10-10 FT) in 30 minutes off the bench. He also added seven assists and a steal, but committed four turnovers as the Celtics fell to the Cavaliers 99-91.
Thomas played 32 minutes off the bench during Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers, finishing with a team-high of 22 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), to go along with five rebounds, 10 assists and one steal.
Thomas (rest) will sit out of Wednesday's regular season finale against Milwaukee, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.
Thomas scored 34 points (10-17 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 10-11 FT) with six assists and three rebounds in 30 minutes off the bench Wednesday.
